DESCRIPTION:So much of modern work is now done on personal computers\, smar
 tphones and tablets\, and while we embrace the advances in technology and 
 the ease with which tasks can be completed\, it's easy to forget that tech
 nology brings its own risks too.\nResearch from FSB shows that a staggeri
 ng seven million cybercrimes are committed against smaller businesses in t
 he UK every year - that's 19\,000 a day. On average\, a cybercrime inciden
 t costs a small business victim almost £3\,000 in damages\, and it can ta
 ke over two days for the business to be back up and running.\n\nCome along
  to our networking session at The Burton at Bideford Art Gallery on 17th A
 pril and our special guest speaker\, Sam Parsons the Cyber Protect\, Prepa
 re and Prevent Officer from Regional Cyber Crime Unit\, is going to tell y
 ou how to prevent cyber crime from affecting your business. There will be 
 plenty of helpful information and lots of time for questions and answers.

 acts and connections. We'll have a tour of the gallery before we move onto
