* Wed 03 July – green hydrogen skills policy dialogue (12noon -4pm)*

University Centre/SWIoT, Petroc (Barnstaple Campus)

Skills and workforce are central to the development and operation of new technologies to enable the net-zero aspiration of national governments.  As part of a British Council skills partnership project, the University Centre at Petroc (UK) and IFMEREE* (Morocco) are working together to convene a dialogue series on the skills and workforce capabilities for the emerging green hydrogen sector in the UK and Morocco. This is the UK policy dialogue session with a reciprocal event arranged in Morrocco for later in the year. These sessions will involve key stakeholders from government, industry, and education (from both the UK and Morocco) to identify the challenges, opportunities, and policy interventions required to ensure we have the sector skills critical to meet the needs of both countries. The output from the dialogue sessions will be a joint communique summarising the findings and recommendations from dialogue participants in both the UK and Morrocco. Lunch is provided. *https://ifmeree.ac.ma/
