Cosmic has been successful in securing delivery of two brand-new Skills Bootcamps, designed to boost digital skills and support transformation in businesses across Devon:
- AI for the Workplace
- Power Platform and Process Automation
These intensive, 60-hour programmes have been co-designed with leading employers and charities in Devon to ensure the training meets real business needs. Each Bootcamp provides practical skills that lead to tangible outcomes for participants, whether that’s a promotion, a new role, or increased responsibilities in their current job.
Who are the Bootcamps for?
- SME staff working in admin, operations, or marketing roles
- Freelancers and sole traders looking to upskill
- Career changers and unemployed people seeking digital skills to secure new opportunities
- Graduates from non-tech fields looking for workplace-ready experience
- Larger organisations aiming to support digital transformation
Key details:
- Delivered 1 day per week over several weeks
- One Bootcamp per person (multiple staff can take part across both Bootcamps)
- Participant commitment required to attend all sessions and work towards defined outcomes
- Funded by Devon County Council, with a contribution model:
- For self-employed & unemployed: £0 – fully funded
- SMEs (under 250 staff): 10% (£210 per person)
- Large businesses (250+ staff): 30% (£630 per person)
