Manufacturers from across the Northern Devon region gathered for an insightful discussion with Make UK’s Jim Davison
Hosted at the beautiful Venn Valley Vineyard, the event marked a welcome return for the breakfast meeting format, with bacon and sausage baps, pastries and plenty of tea and coffee!
Regional Director for Make UK, Jim Davison gave a wide ranging talk, introducing the many benefits available to NDMA members through the Make UK affiliate membership scheme. He also encouraged the audience to speak about the challenges they are currently facing, with common themes emerging, such as skills, material shortages and rising costs.
NDMA Chairman, Tim Puttick, rounded off the meeting, thanking Jim for taking the time to visit and speak to the group whilst explaining that the discussion had given us much food for thought and will inspire themes for future breakfast meetings.
