After two years of reduced activity due to Covid-19, things are getting going again at North Devon Manufacturers Association
Events, best practice visits and STEM engagements are beginning to fill the calendar, with breakfast meetings being planned on subjects like employment, sustainability and international trade. Potential best-practice site visits are being agreed as soon as factories begin to open their doors to visitors. There’s also a webinar on Cyber Security planned for the end of this month.
The annual NDMA awards will also return this year with the celebrated ceremony taking place at The Barnstaple Hotel on 15th September
The organisation has always been a great source of support for manufacturers across the Northern Devon region, enabling access to networks throughout the South West as well as providing a voice for the region nationally. Included in your membership is complimentary affiliate membership of Make UK (formerly EEF) which provides a wealth of business resources including training, documentation and advice specifically tailored to manufacturers.
In a letter to members, Chairman, Tim Puttick explains;
“…it gives me great pleasure to inform you that NDMA is returning to full-scale operation. We have spent some time looking at our membership offer and the setup of the organisation to become more relevant in this new, post-pandemic world.“
